Teacher of Maths and Science – Basingstoke – Permanent Role Starting January 2026

A forward-thinking secondary school in Basingstoke is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths and Science (or Science and Maths) to join their team on a permanent basis from January 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and thrives on bringing two essential subjects to life. You’ll have the chance to teach inquisitive learners across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing their problem-solving skills and inspiring them to explore the connections between numbers, patterns, and the world around them.
The Role:
- Full-time, permanent position starting January 2026
- Teach Maths and Science (or Science and Maths) across KS3–KS4
- Create and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire
- Encourage academic progress and a lifelong interest in learning
- Contribute to school life and departmental enrichment activities

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential requirement
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for both Maths and Science
- A flexible, creative approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
