Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full time / Permanent
Salary: MPR / UPR (£32,916 – £51,048)

The Humanities Department

The Humanities faculty is a collaborative and supportive team, teaching History, Geography and Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4.

The curriculum is designed to:

  • Build strong literacy, analytical and communication skills
  • Inspire curiosity about the world

Teachers work closely to share expertise and ensure high‑quality outcomes for all students.


The Role

You will:

  • Teach Humanities across KS3 and KS4 (specialism flexible)
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress effectively
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment
  • Support students’ academic and personal progress
