Teacher of Geography – Farnborough – January 2026 Start

Full-Time | Secondary School | Long-Term Position
(UK residents only)

Are you an enthusiastic Geography specialist looking to inspire young learners and take the next step in your teaching career? A thriving secondary school in Farnborough is seeking a passionate Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities department from January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher or an Early Career Teacher ready to make a meaningful impact. Working through Teaching Personnel, you’ll be supported by a dedicated consultant and placed in a school that values creativity, ambition, and high-quality teaching.


The Role

As the school’s incoming Teacher of Geography, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Bring strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and wider department development
  • Inspire students to think critically about the world around them
  • Build positive relationships with learners and foster a strong classroom culture
  • Take part in whole-school initiatives and enrichment opportunities

Requirements

We are looking for a Geography specialist who:

  • Holds UK QTS or has relevant teaching experience in Geography
  • Has excellent subject knowledge in physical and human Geography
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and a commitment to pupil progress
  • Is reflective, proactive and eager to contribute to a supportive team
  • Is available full-time from January 2026
