About the Programme
This salaried pathway combines practical classroom experience with high-quality training and mentoring. You will gradually build your confidence and skills, supported by experienced teachers and leaders, while working towards achieving QTS by the end of the programme.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Working closely with experienced teachers to plan and deliver learning activities
- Leading small group interventions and, over time, whole-class teaching
- Gaining experience in behaviour management, assessment, and curriculum delivery
- Participating in a structured training programme leading to QTS
- Contributing to the wider school community
Who We’re Looking For
- A recent graduate in English or a related subject (2:2 or above preferred)
- A genuine interest in teaching and working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, reflective, and resilient attitude
- A commitment to developing as an educator
