The English Department
The English department plays a key role in helping students develop strong literacy, communication and critical thinking skills. The Role
You will:
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential
- Use assessment effectively to drive progress and attainment
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has strong subject knowledge in English
- Is passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Has high expectations for achievement and behaviour
- Is reflective, ambitious and committed to professional development
- Thrives within a collaborative and supportive team environment
