English Teacher – Andover

Start ASAP | Full-Time | Permanent

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with an ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Andover, Hampshire, to recruit a passionate and motivated English Teacher for an immediate start.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Create a calm, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment
  • Support students of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs and SEN
  • Assess progress and provide effective feedback to raise attainment
  • Encourage a love of reading, writing, and communication
  • Work closely with colleagues and pastoral teams to support student progress and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
  • Has experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Can engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4
  • Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential
