Teacher of Drama – September 2025 Start

Location: Hertfordshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (Fringe Area)

Are you a creative, passionate, and dedicated Teacher of Drama looking to inspire the next generation of performers? We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented drama specialist to join our well-respected secondary school in Hertfordshire from September 2025.

Our school is known for its strong academic record, supportive culture, and thriving arts provision. Drama is a valued part of the curriculum and extra-curricular life, with regular productions, theatre visits, and workshops enriching students’ experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to lead engaging lessons, spark creativity, and foster a love for performance and storytelling.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong background in Drama or Performing Arts

  • Can teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning

  • Can contribute to the school's rich extra-curricular programme, including school productions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
