Teacher of Computing – Equip Students for a Digital Future

Full-time | Permanent | September 2025 Start
Location: Salisbury

A forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a qualified and motivated Teacher of Computing to join its growing Computer Science department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy educator who wants to prepare students for the digital world.

The role will involve:

  • Teaching Computing and ICT across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)

  • Delivering lessons on coding, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and computer systems

  • Inspiring students to think critically and solve problems creatively using technology

  • Supporting the development of a forward-thinking and industry-relevant curriculum

  • Leading or contributing to coding clubs, digital media projects, or e-safety initiatives

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS and a degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a closely related field

  • Be confident in using a range of programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, HTML)

  • Stay up to date with new technologies and innovations in digital learning

  • Be committed to engaging students with real-world, practical applications

  • Have a keen interest in online safety, digital wellbeing, and responsible tech use
