Teacher of Computing – Equip Students for a Digital Future
Full-time | Permanent | September 2025 Start
Location: Salisbury
A forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a qualified and motivated Teacher of Computing to join its growing Computer Science department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy educator who wants to prepare students for the digital world.
The role will involve:

Teaching Computing and ICT across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
-
Delivering lessons on coding, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and computer systems
-
Inspiring students to think critically and solve problems creatively using technology
-
Supporting the development of a forward-thinking and industry-relevant curriculum
-
Leading or contributing to coding clubs, digital media projects, or e-safety initiatives
The successful candidate will:
-
Hold QTS and a degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a closely related field
-
Be confident in using a range of programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, HTML)

Stay up to date with new technologies and innovations in digital learning
-
Be committed to engaging students with real-world, practical applications
-
Have a keen interest in online safety, digital wellbeing, and responsible tech use

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
