Primary Teacher – Newport Area
Full-time opportunities | Permanent and Fixed-Term roles available

Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity in a supportive and inclusive school environment?

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a large, well-established primary school in the Newport area that is seeking committed and inspiring teachers to join their team from the next academic year. Multiple opportunities are available, including permanent and fixed-term positions, with year group allocation based on individual strengths and experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong community ethos, a clear commitment to inclusion, and high aspirations for both pupils and staff.

The school is looking for teachers who:

  • demonstrate strong classroom practice and a secure understanding of effective teaching and learning

  • are fully committed to inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners

  • have high expectations of pupil progress, behaviour and engagement

  • can inspire a love of learning in children and contribute positively to whole-school life

  • have experience supporting pupils who are multilingual or from diverse backgrounds

  • are confident using digital tools to enhance learning

  • value professional development and are eager to continually improve their practice

  • build positive, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

  • share a commitment to equity, fairness and social responsibility within education

Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply, with strong support available within the school.

The selection process will include a lesson observation followed by a formal interview with senior leaders.

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding requirements in line with statutory guidance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
