Job description

Primary Supply Teacher – Darlington

Are you a passionate primary teacher looking for flexibility and variety?
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Primary Supply Teachers to work across schools in Darlington. Whether you prefer Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, we can accommodate your strengths and preferences. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners while enjoying the freedom of supply teaching.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and a love for learning
  • Adapting to different classroom environments and supporting pupils’ individual needs
  • Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
  • Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity and quality of education

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 (flexibility across both is ideal, but not essential)
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to apply
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for making a positive impact in primary education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
