Year 2 Primary Teacher – Primary School in Grangetown (Cardiff)
£172.98 per day January Start
Job description:
We are looking for a pro-active and passionate Early Careers Teachers (ECT) to join our dedicated team. We want someone who demonstrates a proven track record of planning and delivering high quality. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will teach numerous subjects to children aged 5-7, so years 1 and 2. The successful candidate will have a love and desire for teaching.
Our school located 15 minutes outside of the city centre aims to ‘deliver a bespoke curriculum that has at its heart the attributes of a family-orientated multicultural community. The Role:
- Full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leadership

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1 / Year 2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Confident classroom management skills
- Passionate about pupil progress and development
