Job description:

We are looking for a pro-active and passionate Early Careers Teachers (ECT) to join our dedicated team. We want someone who demonstrates a proven track record of planning and delivering high quality. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will teach numerous subjects to children aged 5-7, so years 1 and 2. The successful candidate will have a love and desire for teaching.

Our school located 15 minutes outside of the city centre aims to ‘deliver a bespoke curriculum that has at its heart the attributes of a family-orientated multicultural community. We care passionately about our children’s well-being, their individuality and their diversity’. The primary school are all inclusive and committed to working towards equality. They promote positive approaches to difference and foster respect for people of all cultural backgrounds.

The Role:

  • Full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class
  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leadership

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 / Year 2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Confident classroom management skills
  • Passionate about pupil progress and development
