Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible work within specialist education settings?

Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and adaptable Supply Teachers to support a range of specialist schools across Portsmouth. We work with schools supporting pupils with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Alternative Provision settings.

This role is ideal for teachers who thrive in dynamic environments and want the flexibility to choose when and where they work.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across specialist settings
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs and learning barriers
  • Manage behaviour positively and effectively
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEN, SEMH, ASC, or Alternative Provision pupils
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a nurturing approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
