Slough, Berkshire

GBP65 - GBP80 per day

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teaching Assistants in the Slough area. We have a number of vacancies to fill for teaching assistants who can support either the KS1 or the KS2 pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Personal qualities required:

  • Must be able to build effective relationships with SEN children and young people.
  • Must be an approachable with a caring personality
  • Must have flexibility, strength of character and resilience.
  • Must be able to be a suitable role model to pupils.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Must have a positive solution focused approach to challenging situations.

Requirements for the vacancies:

  • Recognised teaching assistant qualification/training or experience support SEN children
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
  • DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
  • Methods to develop and encourage student’s interests and knowledge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
