Location: Tameside
Job Type: Day -to- Day Supply Teaching Assistants
Salary: £13.75- £14.50 per hour
Start date: Varied start dates in the Autumn term
About the role:
- Provide support to the class teacher throughout the school day, monitor and record pupil’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
- Work with children on a small group and 1:1 basis, delivering high quality lessons and interventions to support a strong understanding of learning.
- Uphold the school ethos and implementing relevant policies including behaviour and safeguarding.
- Help create an inclusive learning environment where children of all needs and abilities can reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children (personal or professional).
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate). The schools have stated this is desirable but not essential.
- Has a understanding of the primary curriculum, across different Key Stages.
- Is proactive, adaptable and has high expectations with excellent communication skills.
- Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
