Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in primary schools across Plymouth?
We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in the Plymouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want the flexibility to choose when and where they work.
The Role:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Providing support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assisting children with varying learning and behavioural needs
- Helping to create a positive and safe learning environment
- Adapting to different classroom settings and year groups
Requirements:
- Experience working with primary-aged children preferred
- SEN support experience is desirable
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available to work between the hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
