The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assist children with varying educational needs and abilities.
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support classroom management and behaviour expectations.
• Adapt to different school settings and age groups.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or support setting.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
