Supply Teaching Assistant

Location: Various primary schools across Burnley, Nelson and Colne
Contract: Flexible supply work (full‑time/part‑time/adhoc)
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly

About the Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
• Assist the class teacher with learning activities and classroom management
• Provide 1:1 or small‑group support where needed
• Help create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Step into a variety of schools, adapting quickly to different routines

 What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, youth work etc.)
• A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for helping young learners thrive
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
