Are you a caring, energetic, and reliable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We are seeking enthusiastic Supply TAs to support primary schools with short‑term and long‑term cover.
Location: Various primary schools across Burnley, Nelson and Colne
Contract: Flexible supply work (full‑time/part‑time/adhoc)
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly
About the Role:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Assist the class teacher with learning activities and classroom management
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group support where needed
- Help create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Step into a variety of schools, adapting quickly to different routines
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, youth work etc.)
- A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for helping young learners thrive
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
