Supply Teacher – Tiverton (ASAP Start)

This is a great opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and the chance to work across a range of supportive school settings.

Role Details

Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Tiverton and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £130 – £150 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Flexible supply – short-term, long-term, full-time or part-time
Planning Required? No – lessons are typically pre-planned

About the Role

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and 2
• Follow pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching KS1 and KS2 in UK primary schools (including placements)
• Strong classroom management and confident behaviour strategies
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
