Job description

Are you teacher with QTS looking for work in mainstream primary schools? Would you like a personal consultant assisting your job search? Are you looking for flexible work around your schedule and preferences?

Teaching Personnel's West Midlands primary branch are currently recruiting primary School teachers for part time and full time opportunities due to start in January. Whether you are looking for 2-3 days a week or are availabel Monday to Friday for ad hoc work, we want to hear from you! 

The schools we are in partnership with are looking for familiarity and consistency. Therefore we are working with them closely to build 'talent pool' of teachers who cancover classes when usual class teachers are out. This means you will be no1 point of call whenever cover is required - whether it be in Year 1 or year 6 (this can also be tailored around YOUR preferences,not just the schools needs!)

These positions are unfortunately not open to ECT's but we are hiring ECT's for other positions so please don’t let this put you off applying as we may have a different vacancy available to you!

Your roles and responsibilities as a Primary teacher would include:

- Delivering lessons as well as live marking and assessing pupils

– Managing behaviour in the classroom and maintaining order during transitions

- Engaging students using creative methods

- Communicate to parents and SLT when required to 

- Ensuring safeguarding and school policies as well as pupil welfare

- up holding professionalism

For these positions you MUST have: 

-  a QTS and have comleted thr induction period 

- if you are an ECT you must have minimum 2x school based references graded good to outstanding 

- flexibility to work in KS1 or KS2

- Driving licence (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
