Supply Teacher – Primary (East Lancashire & Pendle)

Flexible Start Date | Multiple Positions Available
Contract: Flexible, Part‑Time or Full‑Time Supply
Location: East Lancashire & Pendle (various primary schools)

About the Role

We are looking for adaptable, enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the East Lancashire and Pendle area. This flexible role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, want control over their workload, or are seeking experience across different year groups and school settings.

Whether you prefer occasional days, regular bookings, or longer‑term placements, we have multiple opportunities available to match your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Follow school policies and ensure continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence.
  • Adapt quickly to different classrooms, routines and teaching styles.
  • Manage behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and staff across different schools.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in primary schools (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
  • Flexibility, reliability and strong classroom management.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to quickly build rapport with children and staff.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
