Job description

Supply teachers needed for Secondary Schools throughout the borough of Tameside for the new academic year in September 2020. Teaching Personnel are looking for local supply teachers to work on a short and medium term basis in our partner secondary schools in Tameside.

We currently work with the majority of secondary schools in Tameside so will be able to provide a varied and flexible work schedule for you on a part time or full time basis. If you are looking to teach without the added responsibilities of planning and marking your own work then this is the perfect role for you.

Our partner schools are looking for reliable teachers who are committed to the profession and will act as though they are a full time member of staff, ensuring students are on task through strong classroom management and engagement techniques.

Supply teachers cover absent permanent members of staff taking on their timetable and pre set lessons for anything from one day to a few weeks. To be eligible for the role of a supply teacher you will need to have a teaching qualification in 11-16 or 14+ and ideally previous experience of working in a UK secondary school setting. We will also need to obtain suitable teaching references and have you apply for a full enhanced DBS certificate that I son the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
