Primary School Supply Teacher – KS1 / KS2
Location: Sunderland (and surrounding areas)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible supply work

We are delighted to be partnering with a range of warm, welcoming and well‑established primary schools across Sunderland who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable KS1 and KS2 Supply Teachers to provide short‑term, medium‑term or day‑to‑day cover.
This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers seeking flexible working, the chance to experience different school environments, and the ability to choose when and where they work. Whether you prefer KS1, KS2 or are happy to teach across both, we will aim to place you in schools that match your strengths and preferences.
The Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons that follow the school’s plans and policies
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners, including those with SEND
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a focused learning atmosphere
- Maintain good communication with school staff
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
Requirements:
To be considered, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- Show excellent behaviour management and adaptability
- Be confident working in new school environments
- Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents
- Be committed to delivering high‑quality teaching
- Ideally have access to your own vehicle to travel between schools
- Public transport users are welcome — you may simply access fewer schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
