Substitute Teacher
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible!
A mixed, non‑selective voluntary‑aided Roman Catholic secondary school for pupils 11-16 years old is seeking an ambitious, dedicated and focussed Substitute Teacher to aid their day-to-day learning!
This opportunity would be well suited to Early Career Teachers wishing to gain further experience, experienced teachers seeking flexible working arrangements, or educators looking to maintain their teaching practice while reducing workload!
The Role
As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for
- Supervising pre-prepared lessons
- Maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment
- Ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning
- You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Collect completed work at the end of lessons
- Provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate

Working Hours and Benefits
