Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Subject Specialist Teachers to work across a network of secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire. We are seeking teachers across a range of subjects, including:

  • English
  • Mathematics

  • MFL
  • PE
  • Design Technology
  • Computing
  • Art and Creative Subjects

Ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

This role is particularly well suited to ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience across different school settings while building confidence and enhancing their teaching practice. Our dedicated consultants work closely with you to find placements that support your professional development and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject area.
  • Plan and assess work where required for longer-term placements.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and departments.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work across different schools.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
