Sports coach – PRU
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic primary school Sports coach, for a PRU. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your experience and with young people who may be experiencing challenges in their education.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with young people through sport and encourage emotional and physical growth
- Motivate students through physical activities to create an inclusive learning space
- Knowledge to deliver structured sport lesson which will promote teamwork, resilience and positive behaviour
- Support and promote healthy life style choices
- Organize and plan lessons catered to students individual needs
- Have good communication skills and the ability to build a positive relationship
Experience
- Experience teaching or coaching sports to young people
- Relevant qualifications in sport coaching, teaching including level 2 coaching or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
