Contract: Full-time, Part-time, Daily Supply, or Long-term

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit enthusiastic and proactive Sports Coaches to work with primary and secondary schools across East London. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sports, physical activity, and supporting young people to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
You will work alongside teachers and school leadership teams to deliver high‑quality PE sessions, lead small-group activities, and support pupils with behaviour, engagement, and confidence building. Roles are available in mainstream schools and alternative provisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging PE lessons and lead physical activity sessions across a range of sports.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to support behaviour, focus, and emotional regulation.
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom support, and break/lunch supervision.
- Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and positive attitudes among pupils.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of students with varying ability levels.
- Act as a role model and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
We Are Looking For
- Experience coaching young people (school, club, community setting, or similar).
- Confident communication and the ability to build rapport with pupils.
- A sporty, energetic, and positive approach.
- Strong behaviour management or willingness to learn.
- Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
