Speech Language and Pathology Graduate - Teaching Assistant Role in York Specialist School.

Working as a teaching assistant using your SLCN degree. Speech, Language and Pathology - working with children with communication issues.Teaching assistant within the Primary and Secondary age range. Do you want to use your Speech, Language and Pathology Degree in an education setting? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist school in West Leeds, to appoint a Speech, Language and Pathology Graduate to their team with immediate effect. The school caters for a higher than average number of children with special educational needs and has specialist classrooms across their primary and secondary ranges.

You will ideally be a talented Speech, Language and Pathology graduate with a strong academic record and a dedication towards your career. The SENCO of this School is highly experienced and facilitates the special needs programme for a large number of students on roll. Using various communication programmes to support children in the KS1-4 stages. Autistic children with barriers to speech, interaction and communication.

PECS, visual aids, now and next cards to help communicate. Delivering tailor made programmes outlined by the SENCO for specific children.

Full time position. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
