Specialist Teaching Assistant | Wellingborough

Pay Rate: £92.63 – £100.00 per day

 Location: Wellingborough (Local Schools)

About the Role: It’s All About Connection We believe that the best support starts with a great relationship.

We are currently recruiting Specialist SEN Teaching Assistants in Wellingborough who don't just see a job, but see the child behind the diagnosis. If you are a natural people person who excels at building rapport, staying positive, and finding the win in every day, you’ll fit right in with our welcoming school communities.

Why You’ll Love This Role In this role, you aren't just an assistant; you are a mentor, a cheerleader, and a support system. You will build strong bonds by working 1:1 with pupils, becoming a trusted face in their daily school life. You will be the bridge that helps children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, or SEMH needs navigate the social and emotional world of the classroom. Most importantly, you’ll be there to celebrate every milestone, from a breakthrough in a lesson to a simple smile during break time, all while working alongside a passionate team of SENCOs and teachers who value your unique personality.

What Makes You the Perfect Fit? We aren't just looking for a list of certificates—we’re looking for personality and passion. You are a natural communicator who finds it easy to talk to kids, colleagues, and parents alike. You bring high energy and a proactive, can-do attitude to the classroom every day. Your empathy allows you to put yourself in a child’s shoes and understand their world, and you truly thrive when working as part of a team to create a happy, inclusive environment. While experience with children is a bonus, your patience and personality are what truly matter to us.

What We Offer You We provide a competitive daily rate of £92.63 – £100.00 and work hard to find you a supportive home in Wellingborough schools that fit your personality and commute. We invest in your professional growth with ongoing specialist SEN training and provide 1-on-1 support from your own dedicated consultant. Whether you want the stability of a full-time role or the variety of part-time work, we have options that fit your lifestyle.

Safeguarding: We are committed to the safety of our children. All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and referencing in line with safer recruitment practices.

Ready to join the team? If you are a warm, outgoing person who wants to make a real difference in Wellingborough, we want to meet you! Submit your CV today and let’s have a chat about your next step.
