Supporting Learners Across Stockport & Tameside
Teaching Personnel work closely with a range of specialist schools across Stockport and Tameside and are seeking qualified Teachers who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional, emotional, and behavioural needs.
These roles are ideal for educators who are motivated by specialist education, value relationship‑based teaching, and are committed to creating structured, nurturing environments where pupils with complex needs can succeed.
The Role in Specialist Settings
You will be teaching within SEN and SEMH provisions, supporting pupils with:
- Complex and additional learning needs
- Social, emotional and mental health needs
- Autism and sensory processing differences
- Behavioural and emotional challenges
- PMLD and medical needs

Your Responsibilities
You will play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn by:
- Adapting lessons to suit individual needs and EHCP outcomes
- Using calm, consistent, and trauma‑informed behaviour strategies
- Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive relationships
- Communicating effectively with school staff, parents, and carers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
