SEMH Specialist – Class Teacher

  • Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with SEND?
  • Are you able to offer a nurturing, inclusive and child-centred approach to teaching?

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of several specialist settings in the South Yorkshire area, who are seeking to recruit a highly professional and experienced Class Teacher.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have knowledge of SEND Code of Practice 0-25 years.
  • Have experience and knowledge of teaching young people with SEND (including Autism)
  • Have the ability to teach flexibly, across all subject levels, and to differentiate lesson plans to ensure they are accessible to students with varying needs.
  • Have extensive experience managing behaviours that may challenge

Important Information:

  • We are recruiting SEND Specialist Teachers In the following locations – S60, S61, DN12, S8, S6, S45.
  • We have positions across Primary and Secondary age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
