SMSA - Teaching Assistant

Location: Ealing

Pay: £15 per hour

Hours: 11:30am – 13:10pm

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a SMSA Teaching Assistant to cover lunch time breaks at a local school in Ealing. The ideal candidate will be energetic, open, caring and able to manage behaviour effectively.

About the role:

To supervise children during the lunch break by ensuring the security, safety and wellbeing and care of the pupils of the school. Also, to promote their social, emotional, and physical development during the lunch period.

Essentials:

-      Must enjoy working with children.

-      Be emotionally intelligent, caring, and flexible.

-      Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to fit in with our happy hard-working team

-      Have a good positive behaviour management strategy

-      Have a strong desire to develop and learn for themselves

-      Be committed to developing children’s learning

-      Have a current child workforce only DBS, on the update service – or be willing to apply

-      Have the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
