Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants (TA) and Teachers to support Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across:
Oxford

Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Flexible opportunities – long-term, short-term, and permanent roles available


About the Schools & Students:

You will be working in welcoming, specialist SEN settings supporting children and young people aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN)
  • ADHD and associated behavioural needs
  • Sensory processing difficulties

These schools provide structured, nurturing environments where students are supported to thrive both academically and personally. Staff collaborate closely with therapists, behaviour specialists, and families to deliver holistic support.

About You:

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Adaptable and confident working with diverse needs

For Teachers: Qualified (QTS/QTLS preferred), with SEN or classroom experience desirable
For Teaching Assistants: Experience in education or care is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
