SEN Tutor Opportunities – Support Young Learners in Wool

Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Wool and nearby areas
Contract: Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities available
About the Role
TP Tutors is looking for patient and adaptable individuals to deliver one-to-one tuition for students who require additional educational support outside of mainstream settings. You will work with learners facing challenges linked to Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, and other additional learning needs.
This rewarding role allows you to create personalised learning experiences that encourage engagement, independence, and long-term progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and individualised tuition sessions
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles
- Promote emotional wellbeing and learner confidence
- Encourage independence and positive educational engagement
- Communicate with families and professionals where appropriate
- Monitor progress and adapt support plans as needed
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and structured learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is advantageous
- Backgrounds in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, care, or support work are welcomed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, flexible, and empathetic attitude
- Reliable with good organisational abilities
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- Ability to travel throughout Wool and nearby areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
