SEN Tutor – Basingstoke
Make a Difference Through One-to-One Support
TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors across Basingstoke and surrounding areas to deliver personalised tuition to children and young people who require additional educational support.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties, or those who have become disengaged from mainstream education. Through tailored tuition, you will help learners build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve meaningful progress.
Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Teaching Format: One-to-one tuition

What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging one-to-one tuition sessions
- Developing learning plans tailored to individual needs
- Supporting learners to increase confidence and independence
- Monitoring progress and adapting sessions accordingly
- Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning
- Maintaining professional communication and session records
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Experience supporting SEN/SEND learners
- Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring work background
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Ability to travel throughout Basingstoke and nearby locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
