SEND Teacher – Warrington (Specialist Provision within mainstream school)

A specialist provision within a mainstream primary school in Warrington is recruiting a SEND Teacher to support pupils with complex needs, including ASD and SEMH.

This is a highly rewarding role focused on adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs and removing barriers to learning. SEND teachers are expected to differentiate lessons and support both academic and emotional development .

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
• Work closely with TAs, therapists and external professionals
• Maintain consistent routines and behaviour expectations

Ideal candidate:

• QTS with SEND or SEMH experience (or strong interest)
• Calm, adaptable and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
