SEND Teacher – Immediate Start, Wirral & Merseyside, M1–UPS3

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist SEN & SEMH provision across the Wirral and Merseyside, supporting children and young people aged 5–16 who require a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive learning environment. We are seeking a committed SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team on a temp-to-perm basis, with immediate start available.
This is not your typical classroom role. Every day presents an opportunity to change a life trajectory, rebuild confidence, and create meaningful connections with pupils who need it most.
The Role
You will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
- Build strong, trusting relationships to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership teams
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil can thrive
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven experience working within an SEND setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
- A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
