Start Date: September/October 2026
Position: Full-time
Pay: £92.63 a day

Hours: Monday – Friday

Location: Basingstoke

Opportunity for a permanent position to arise for the right individual.

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in the classroom? An enthusiastic mainstream primary school in Basingstoke is seeking engaging and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to support in a variety of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 year groups.

Requirements:

  • UK experience as a LSA in a primary or SEND school setting is essential
  • A proactive and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualifications are an advantage
  • A child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Happy to support pupils from Reception – Year 6
  • Confident working 1:1 and in groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and classroom support to pupils
  • Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Support children’s learning and social development
  • Help with setting up the classroom
  • A chance to make a real difference in children’s education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
