Pay: £92.63 a day
Hours: Monday – Friday
Location: Basingstoke
Opportunity for a permanent position to arise for the right individual.
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in the classroom? An enthusiastic mainstream primary school in Basingstoke is seeking engaging and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to support in a variety of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 year groups.
Requirements:
- UK experience as a LSA in a primary or SEND school setting is essential
- A proactive and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications are an advantage
- A child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Happy to support pupils from Reception – Year 6
- Confident working 1:1 and in groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and classroom support to pupils
- Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Support children’s learning and social development
- Help with setting up the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
