SEND Teaching Assistant – Inclusion Room

Location: Warrington
Start Date: September 2026

A primary school in Warrington is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within their inclusion provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

This is a full-time role and requires someone who is confident working with children who may present with behavioural challenges and require consistent, structured support.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Working within an inclusion room environment
• Implementing behaviour support strategies
• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
• Liaising with the class teacher and SENDCo

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working within SEND settings
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils
• Confident managing challenging behaviour
• Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
