This rewarding full-time role involves teaching and supporting secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex needs, including:

• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Communication and Interaction Needs
• Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties

The Role

As a SEND Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your pupils. Working alongside experienced support staff and therapists, you will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching children or young people with SEND, ideally within a specialist setting
• Demonstrate a patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Be confident adapting lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes for all learners
