Job description
We are supporting a highly reputable secondary school in Rochdale in their search for an experienced SENCO to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school known for its strong reputation, inclusive ethos, and exceptionally supportive leadership team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the school’s SEND provision, working closely with staff, students, external agencies, and families to ensure every young person receives the support they need to thrive.

What we’re looking for:
- An experienced SENCO with a proven track record in secondary settings
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and effective intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Someone passionate about inclusion and student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
