We are seeking dedicated Maths and English tutors to deliver personalised tuition to students across Wokingham.

This opportunity is well suited to tutors who enjoy working independently and adapting their teaching approach to meet each student's individual needs and learning style.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tuition in Maths, English, or both subjects
  • Be available to work a minimum of 10–15 hours per week
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, baseline assessments, and student progress
  • Adapt lessons in real time to keep students engaged, motivated, and supported
  • Communicate regularly with families, schools, and other professionals involved in each student's education
  • Hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

Experience We Are Looking For

We are particularly keen to hear from tutors with experience supporting:

  • Students with SEN
  • Learners with SEMH needs
  • Students who are out of education
  • Learners requiring alternative provision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
