SEN Tutor (1:1 Tuition) – Nottinghamshire

Are you a compassionate and committed SEN Tutor looking for a role that’s truly rewarding? We’re seeking dedicated tutors to work 1:1 with students with Special Educational Needs across Nottinghamshire, supporting both their academic progress and personal development.

This role offers the opportunity to change lives by building confidence, fostering independence and helping students reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 sessions to students with a range of SEN needs

  • Plan and adapt engaging lessons to suit individual learning styles and abilities

  • Support students’ academic progress while nurturing confidence and emotional wellbeing

  • Create a positive, structured and supportive learning environment

  • Build strong, trusting relationships that encourage long-term progress

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience teaching or tutoring students with SEN

  • Are confident in planning and delivering engaging, personalised sessions

  • Are patient, empathetic and adaptable in your approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
