Job Title: 1:1 SEN Tutor – Loughborough Area

Location: Loughborough
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to support learners in the Loughborough area. This role involves working closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each student’s specific needs and abilities

  • Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles

  • Use creative and engaging approaches to support learning and development

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students and families

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN students (tutoring, teaching, or support roles)

  • Strong understanding of SEN and differentiated learning strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Teaching qualification or relevant degree

  • Experience with EHCPs and behaviour management strategies

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
