Job Title: SEN Tutor

Location:

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and needs
  • Implement strategies to support students in achieving their learning goals
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills

Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting with flexible hours depending on student needs. May require travel to different locations within Kensington & Chelsea.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
