Job description

SEN Tutor – BB9, Blackburn

Location: BB9, Blackburn
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Blackburn.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to individual needs.

  • Plan lessons according to each child's learning needs, abilities and goals.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other SEN needs.

  • Support students with core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.

  • Build confidence, independence and positive learning habits.

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

What We're Looking For

✔ Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience.
✔ Experience with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
SEN experience is essential.
✔ Patient, supportive and adaptable approach.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
✔ Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
