TP Tutors is recruiting enthusiastic SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition throughout Basingstoke and the surrounding communities.
Our tutors support children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and learners who benefit from personalised education outside of mainstream classrooms. By delivering tailored sessions, you'll help learners overcome barriers and celebrate success at their own pace.
Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues, or learners' homes

Your Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised tuition programmes matched to individual learner needs
- Create engaging lessons that encourage academic and personal growth
- Adapt resources and teaching approaches to maximise engagement
- Support learners in developing confidence and independence
- Monitor progress and complete accurate session records
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, schools, and professionals
Essential Experience
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
- Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, teaching assistant, youth work, or similar education experience
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Ability to travel across Basingstoke and nearby areas
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
