SEN Tutor – Basingstoke

Support Learners to Thrive Through Personalised Education

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to work with children and young people across Basingstoke. This rewarding role involves delivering tailored one-to-one tuition to learners who require additional support to access education and achieve their full potential.

Many of the students we support have autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties, or have experienced barriers within mainstream education. Through your guidance and expertise, you will help them develop confidence, skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £25–£30 per hour
Contract: Flexible, part-time and full-time opportunities available

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured one-to-one tuition
• Create individualised learning plans
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit learner needs
• Monitor and report on progress
• Build positive relationships with learners and families
• Maintain accurate records and professional communication

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people
• Previous SEN/SEND support experience
• Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or education
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
• Ability to travel locally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
