TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors in Basingstoke to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition in Maths, English and Science.
Your subject expertise will help learners close academic gaps and re-engage with education through tailored, structured sessions.
Role Details
Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Basingstoke – homes and community-based settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
-
Deliver structured lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes
-
Differentiate core subject content to meet individual learning needs
-
Support learners with SEND and SEMH
-
Build subject knowledge, exam readiness and confidence
-
Track and report academic progress
Requirements
-
Experience teaching or tutoring Maths, English or Science
-
Understanding of SEND and SEMH
-
Ability to break down complex subject content into manageable steps
-
Excellent safeguarding practice
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
