TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors in Basingstoke to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition in Maths, English and Science.

Your subject expertise will help learners close academic gaps and re-engage with education through tailored, structured sessions.

Role Details

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Basingstoke – homes and community-based settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes

• Differentiate core subject content to meet individual learning needs

• Support learners with SEND and SEMH

• Build subject knowledge, exam readiness and confidence

• Track and report academic progress

Requirements

• Experience teaching or tutoring Maths, English or Science

• Understanding of SEND and SEMH

• Ability to break down complex subject content into manageable steps

• Excellent safeguarding practice

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
