Teaching Assistants needed!

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join a specialist primary school setting supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. This rewarding role involves working with children who require additional support to access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence within a nurturing and structured environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND

• Supporting children with autism, communication difficulties and complex learning needs

• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional regulation

• Helping pupils develop social skills, independence and self-confidence

• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet individual needs

• Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

 

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with children in educational, care or support settings

• Are patient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships

• Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

• Can adapt their approach to meet a variety of learning styles and abilities

• Are reliable, proactive and committed to helping pupils succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
