SEN Teaching Assistant needed in Wellingborough

Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) – Full Time
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: September
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £95 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wellingborough on a full-time basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those with behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN or behavioural needs.

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
-
Support the development of pupils’ social and emotional skills.
-
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
-
Monitor and record progress, reporting to the SENCo and teaching staff.
-
Promote pupil independence and self-esteem.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children with SEN and/or behavioural needs.

Ability to build positive and nurturing relationships with pupils.
-
Patience, resilience, and a calm, caring approach.
-
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
-
A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
